Dr. Joel Singer graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson College of Dental Medicine, and completed post-graduate training in advanced general dentistry at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he also served as a Clinical Instructor. 1988 Dr. Joel Singer established a private practice while continuing advanced courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including completion of the prestigious Advanced Ultimate Esthetic Program. Dr. Joel Singer was selected to serve as Clinical Instructor of Advanced Aesthetic Continuums at New York University where he taught these advanced techniques to other dentists.
Dr. Joel Singer is committed to continuing education. He achieved Fellowship Status in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), an honor achieved by only a small percentage of dentist, and is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the premiere organization for continuing education in aesthetic dentistry. Each year Dr. Joel Singer attends the Annual Scientific Session of the AACD, where he gains cutting edge training to provide the finest aesthetic results dentistry possible to his patients.
Dr. Joel Singer has been a member of The Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) since 2000. The DOCS provides advanced training in the use of oral sedation, which allows his office to safely provided “sleep dentistry”. This service provides anxious patients and those requiring extensive treatment to complete their necessary treatments in total comfort as well and in a shorter time.
Since 1993, Dr. Joel Singer has been a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and has earned his Fellowship in the Institute for Natural Dentistry (FIND). He uses exclusively mercury-safe, bio-compatible materials and employs the safest methods for the removal of mercury fillings as per the IAOMT strict standards. Dr. Joel Singer recently became a member of the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists (IAMFD), an association for dentists who are committed to the philosophy, concepts and practice of mercury-safe dentistry.
